CONTACTS
A contact is one person you work with. This page creates a contact, fills the profile, and organizes contacts with statuses, tags, and owners.
CRM concept: A contact is an individual. The business the person works for is a separate record called a company.
The contact profile opens.

A full profile makes a contact useful later. Open a contact and add:
To link a company, open the Company field on the contact and select an existing company. If the company does not exist yet, create it first.

A status shows where the contact stands, for example, New, Active, or Customer.
The status saves at once. The color shows in the contact list.
A tag is a free label for filtering and segmentation. A contact can have many tags.
Use tags to group contacts by interest, region, or campaign. Then filter the contact list by tag.
An owner is the team member responsible for the contact. Assign an owner so the whole team knows who handles each person.
Every note, task, call, email, and meeting linked to the contact shows in the timeline on the profile. The newest item is at the top. See Logging activities.
